IRS Online Account Scams
Scammers pose as third parties offering to help set up your IRS Individual Online Account in order to steal your personal information. No help is needed—simply follow IRS guidelines to set up your account securely.
False Fuel Tax Credit Claims
Phony charities often emerge during crises, exploiting people’s goodwill to steal money and data. Always verify a charity’s tax-exempt status before donating.
